Terms of Service

In these Terms, "Mangio", "we", "us", or "our" refers to the operator of the Mangio platform, a restaurant discovery service based in Denmark. "Service" means the Mangio website, mobile web application, and all related AI-powered features. "User" or "you" means any person who accesses or uses the Service. "Restaurant Listing" means any restaurant profile, data, or recommendation displayed within the Service.

Mangio is an AI-powered restaurant discovery platform for Copenhagen. We aggregate, index, and surface restaurant information using machine learning models and natural language search. Our Service helps you discover dining options — we are not a reservation system, a review platform, or a party to any arrangement between you and any restaurant.

Restaurant listings are sourced from public data and third-party providers. While we apply automated quality checks, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any listing. Opening hours, prices, menus, and availability are subject to change without notice by the restaurant.

AI-generated recommendations are algorithmic suggestions based on your query and, where applicable, your saved preferences. They are not endorsements. Mangio bears no responsibility for the quality of your dining experience.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
• You may hold only one account per person.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at legal@mangio.app if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, that appear to be fraudulent, or that have been inactive for an extended period after reasonable notice.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service by automated means.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from any part of the Service.
• Frame or mirror any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information to any part of the Service.
• Attempt to manipulate or circumvent AI recommendations or personalization features.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable Danish or EU law.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

Restaurant information displayed on Mangio is aggregated from public sources and may not always reflect current conditions. We disclaim all liability for inaccuracies in listings, including but not limited to incorrect addresses, operating hours, pricing, or menu information.

Mangio acts as an information intermediary — we do not operate, manage, or control any restaurant. Any dispute arising from a dining experience is between you and the restaurant directly.

All content, design, code, trademarks, and features of the Service are the exclusive property of Mangio or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only. No license to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works is granted.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mangio, its directors, employees, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, goodwill, or data — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees paid by you to Mangio in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) EUR 50.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Danish or EU consumer law.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark.

If you are an EU consumer, you may also have the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice — by email or prominent in-app notice — before the changes take effect, as required under EU consumer law. Continued use of the Service after that period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

You may close your account at any time by visiting your profile settings or by contacting us at legal@mangio.app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, after giving reasonable notice where required by law.
